What is Vivace?

Vivace is an advanced radiofrequency (RF) microneedling treatment that combines fine microneedles with gentle radiofrequency energy. Together they stimulate collagen and elastin deeper in the skin than microneedling alone, smoothing fine lines and wrinkles, tightening lax skin, and refining tone and texture. A topical numbing cream keeps the treatment virtually painless, and collagen continues to build for months afterward with little to no downtime.

Vivace is an FDA cleared device that uses radiofrequency to heat the dermis that leads to stimulation of collagen and elastin production. These treatments are proven to reduce fine lines and wrinkles and enhance the skin tone and texture. The short pulse duration makes this device much less painful than other devices on the market.

Microneedling, taken deeper

By adding radiofrequency energy to traditional microneedling, Vivace heats the deeper layers of the skin to trigger a stronger collagen response, and it is safe for all skin types and colors.

Frequently asked questions

Who Vivace is for, skin types, comfort, downtime, areas treated, and how long results last.

Vivace is a good option for most people who want to soften fine lines, tighten mild laxity, and improve skin texture and tone. We confirm you are a candidate at a consultation.

Candidates for Vivace® RF Microneedling include those with:

  • Mild-to-moderate signs of aging, including fine lines and wrinkles
  • Acne scars
  • Enlarged pores
  • Stretch marks
  • Inadequate skin tone and texture

Yes. Because Vivace uses radiofrequency energy rather than light, it is safe for all skin types and colors.

Unlike ablative lasers, RF microneedling tends not produce hyperpigmentation in skin of color. It is therefore safe in any skin type.

A topical numbing cream is applied beforehand, so most people find the treatment virtually painless and comfortable.

Vivace is well-tolerated with minimal to no discomfort using only topical anesthetic.

Downtime is minimal. Some redness is common for a day, and most people return to their normal routine quickly.

Typically there is little to no downtime. Most patients will be ready to resume all activities within a day.

Vivace is most commonly used on the face and neck, and it can also be used on other areas where skin tightening and texture improvement are desired.

Most clients treat the face and the neck. Stretch marks can also be treated on the body.

Because Vivace builds your own collagen over several months, results are long lasting. Periodic maintenance treatments help preserve them.

Your skin will continue to produce new collagen for up to 6 months after your last Vivace treatment. However due to the effects of natural aging, results are not permanent and you will need periodic touchup treatments to maintain your results.

The cost for a single treatment of the face is $600. However we sell packages at a discount.

Treatment of the neck is an additional fee.
